How To Fix A Bally Slot Machines
Subject: Re: bally e2090 stuck on tilt | Author: Bob
| [ Next Thread |Previous Thread |Next Message |Previous Message] Date Posted:22:48:23 07/31/06 Mon In reply to:bambam's message, 'bally e2090 stuck on tilt' on 18:57:16 07/31/06 Mon The Hopper control Board on the front of the hopper has a reset button as well as a test button. Try the reset button. If you see an error code on the led read out, it will tell you where the malfunction is (what part of the system) The Bally E 2000 Series was made only for a few years from 1983-1986. They were Bally's 1st electric slot, then they developed the stepper computer slots afterwards. The E Series is basically an electro-mechanical slot machine with a computer board that replaced many of the older elctro mechanical functions such as contacts, wiper boards and switches. The wheels random index like an older mechanical slot machine. I think they are problamic and parts are difficult to come by; BUT- like anything, if you learn these and have a parts source, you can keep them up and running. The most problems I have seen on these are bad reel readers, bad power supplies, bad connections (anywhere but in particular the power supply board, hopper control board and/or MPU Board. - or a low ram battery or lubrication issues causing the reels to render a tilt code. I know of 2 people who know these machines inside and out, and can repair or exchange boards or other parts. I hope your machines are complete. If you would like to e mail me, I would be glad to refer you to my sources, but 1st I would get a manual for the Bally E Series (usually always on E Bay in the Slot Category); I have no business affialiation with these sources other than I myself have had parts checked or repaired for the Bally E's that I have had, I would trouble shoot your machines 1st to eliminate the obvious problems that you might be able to fix. Good luck! >i just purchased a couple of bally e2090 slot >machines.i know very little about these machines but >the price was right and they look complete.problem is >when i put a coin in all that happens is the tilt >light goes on.machine does nothing.i dont have a >service manual but as long as they print one.i do plan >on picking one up.any help in the mean time would be >appreciated.as i dont even know where any of the reset >buttons are.
