Upgrade Materials Legendary Gem Hammer Add a socket. This hammer adds a gem socket to a Legendary weapon. The number of Legendary Gem Hammers required to unlock a gem slot varies depending on the particular weapon, the slot being unlocked, and may increase as the weapon advances. So, for those of you who say, NCSoft is just going to pack its bags and throw away 20% of their PC Gaming revenues away, they're not. Unless the game is running at a complete loss (which is hard to observe but by the numbers of the business as a whole, it seems okay).

The new Augment system arrives with the Blade & Soul: Celestial Dawn update on June 20.

Coming with Blade & Soul: Celestial Dawn is a new Augment system to help further enhance your prowess in combat.

The Augment System will give you a unique way to improve your Legendary accessories by adding a random stat amount to it. This stat increase can further enhance your character by adding Boss Attack Power, Critical Damage, PvP Defense, and more—and will help prepare you for Blade & Soul’s more challenging content.

Augmenting your Legendary accessories is simple and not unlike enhancing your Soul Shields. First, you’ll need a type of item called Psyche which can be obtained from playing Battlegrounds, and in Hard Difficulty Dungeons all over the Earthen Realm.

After receiving the required material for the Stats that you would like to increase, Shift + Left click on the item in your Inventory that you wish to apply an augment to and it will open your Manage Equipment window. There you’ll see a new tab where you can upgrade your accessories.

The cost to augment your gear each time is two Transformation Stones and 15 gold, but you can only augment an item a maximum of six times, keeping in mind that it may not take that many times to get the maximum amount listed in the stats column above. If you change your mind and want to use a different Psyche, you can, but just be aware that augmenting with a different Psyche will start you from the beginning once again.

Today is the last day, you can reserve a character name for Blade and Soul if you’ve purchased or upgraded to a Disciple (1 character name) or Master Pack (2 character names).

When Closed Beta started in autumn 2015 I decided I would only buy an Initiate’s Pack because personally I’m very creative, coming up with creative user names.

However, extra character slots, premium membership and additional NCoins sound good enough for me to decide to upgrade to a Disciple Pack.

And having a Disciple Pack also means I can reserve one character name and luckily it wasn’t taken though I kind of upgraded last minute.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that the guys I want to play with decided on a German Server whereas I wanted to go on a European Server. but that’s another story.
